Medterra Wellness targets overall immune support

Medterra is going big in immunity. After launching a one-off immunity drops offering last spring, the CBD brand is introducing Medterra Wellness  — a seven-SKU line of products that is focused on overall immune health and overall wellness. 

The line includes gummies, capsules, topicals and elixirs that combine immune-supporting supplements with functional ingredients that include medicinal reishi mushroom, camu camu and sea buckthorn. The products, which the company said were developed alongside its medical advisory board, focuses on sleep, stress, defense and nutrient replenishment — ky pillars of immunity. 

"Medterra Wellness is the first all-in-one CBD product line dedicated to holistic immune health. The line was developed in the midst of the global health crisis to support our customers' ongoing priority this year in establishing a stronger immune system," said Medterra CEO Jay Hartenbach. "The ingredients selected are proven to boost the immune system, support overall wellness and include our signature Ultra Broad Spectrum CBD, which provides a 10:1 ratio of CBD to minor cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids for a powerful entourage effect."

The collection includes two gummy varieties — strawberry-flavored Stress Support which uses manuka honey, lavender and L-theanine to relieve muscle tension, promote calmness and impart antioxidant properties, and Immune Boost, which combines elderberry, vitamin C and zinc. Both offer 25 mg of CBD per dose. 

Medterra Wellness also includes liposomal capsules. The vegan capsules include Eye Health, Energy, Sleep Well and Stress Support capsules, each of which offer 25 mg of CBD per dose alongside condition-specific ingredients such as valerian root and GABA for sleep support, gingko biloba and goji berry for eye health, and reishi and ashwagandha for stress support. 

Topicals include Nature’s Relief Cream and Nature’s Relief Cream – Extra Strength, which offer 500 mg and 1,000 mg of CBD per package, respectively, as well as the Manuka Honey Soothing Cream, which offers 250 mg of CBD and looks to reduce skin damage and moisturize while protecting skin. 

The Medterra Wellness Elixirs include Antioxidant Boost and Immune Boost formulas, both of whicha re available in 1,000- and 1,500-mg strengths and can be taken directly or added to a beverage. 

All products in the Medterra Wellness line are THC and feature non-generically modified ingredients. Each U.S. Hemp Authority-certified product is available with a certificate of analysis available on Medterra’s website. Additionally, Medterra said the line’s packaging is made rom 20% plant-based polymers and each bottle is 100% recyclable. The brand will be donating 1% of sales to 1% for the Plant, a nonprofit focused on creating a healthy planet.
