Vertically integrated agriculture technology company Southern Tier Hemp is introducing its first products — a suite of lotions containing hemp grown sustainably in upstate New York. The lotions mark the opening salvo in the company’s entry into the wellness CBD space, with its website teasing forthcoming gel, balm and emulsion oils.

The lotions come in two types — Natural and Menthol — and offer a concentrated formula designed to combat acute and ongoing chronic pain and inflammation using such ingredients as Argania, rosemary and aloe vera.

Southern Tier Hemp said that it is one of the first enterprises in New Tork state to develop, manufacture and sell CBD products directly to consumers. The company said that its approach aims to combine agricultural expertise, technology and sustainability to offer transparent CBD products containing safe, non-psychoactive hemp-derived CBD.
