Socati earns USDA Organic certification

Texan CBD company Socati has managed to earn a critical distinction. The company has received official USDA Organic certification for its CBD ingredient lineup, which can be used in USDA Organic finished products. The certification was awarded by Montana’s agriculture department following an evaluation process.

With the certification, Socati is the only commercial-scale producer of USDA Organic certified cannabinoid ingredients with nondetectable levels of THC as verified by third-party labs.

“Our mission has always been to provide the highest quality and most consistent CBD ingredients and finished products in the industry,” said Josh Epstein, Socati CEO. “Through a commitment to clean label initiatives, natural production practices, and significant investment in research and development, Socati has now achieved the breakthrough of being awarded its USDA Organic certification, the gold standard for supply chain integrity, creating competitive differentiation and increased consumer trust at a time when the industry desperately needs it. We could not be more delighted to be able to now offer the compelling brand value of the USDA Organic Seal to our partners and customers.”

The evaluation process for the company included a review of its manufacturing records, analysis of the credentials and credibility of its suppliers to ensure organic compliance throughout the supply china, and confirmation of cleanliness standards.

The company already is launching two lines of products — Organic Broad Spectrum Oils, which are free of detectable levels of THC, and Organic Full Spectrum Oils, which contain legal amounts of THC at 0.3% or less.

The company also is offering a full range of customizable private-label products featuring its organic ingredients, which include crystalized flavor powders, vegan gummies, tinctures, softgels, pressed tablets and two-piece capsules.
