Rocky Mountain High Brands adds bottling facility
Rocky Mountain High Brands has acquired a commercial bottling operation that will significantly enhance its private label beverage business and support its new venture into private brand hand sanitizer production.
The Dallas-based manufacturer of wellness products and products in hemp oil, hemp extract categories, will operate the new bottling facility in Plano, Texas, through its new wholly owned subsidiary, Rocky Mountain Productions.
“This acquisition gives us the opportunity to enter the highly lucrative hand sanitizer business at a time when it is in great demand,” said Michael Welch, chairman of the board. “Owning our own bottling and canning facility allows us to maintain total control over product quality and development as well as ensuring favorable production scheduling for our HEMPd and private label beverages at significant cost advantages. We now have revenue-producing assets which will allow us to drive our own success.”
The bottling facility was previously owned by Raw Pharma and can produce 12,000 cans of beverages per hour, includes high-speed production lines that produce 9,000 bottles an hour and a second line that produces 4,000 bottles an hour. The high-speed line has been converted to a hand sanitizer filling line to help meet the high demands for the product during the coronavirus pandemic.
Rocky Mountain High Brands oversees a family of consumer goods brands and private label brands and specializes in developing, manufacturing, marketing, and distributing high-quality, health-conscious hemp-infused products that span various categories including beverage, food, fitness, skin care and more. RMHB also markets a naturally high alkaline spring water as part its brand portfolio.
