Powerful Brands emerges from MMG, Powerful Nutrition combination

Powerful Nutrition and MMG Consumer Brands are joining forces to create a new company. Powerful Brands is the new combination of the two companies that will encompass Powerful Nutrition’s eponymous sports nutrition and supplement offerings, as well as MMG’s two mass-market CBD brands Karibo Beauty and mintedLeaf. 

The Miami-based company will be focused on offering a portfolio of health-and-wellness brands and leveraging its in-house product development, digital marketing, e-commerce and retail distribution expertise. 

"Powerful Brands is focused on true innovation within the health and wellness category. Our thoughtfully curated brands offer genuinely original products that appeal to mass audiences and have major staying power in their respective marketplaces," said Gabriel Navarro, managing partner of Powerful Brands.

With Karibo, the company has a line of affordably priced daily skin products that contain broad-spectrum CBD, moisturizers, antioxidants and innovative delivery systems, while mintedLeaf offers topical and ingestible CBD wellness products. Powerful Nutrition offers a line of high-protein dairy- and plant-based products with a focus on clean ingredients and balanced nutrition.
