Green Cures adds head of product development

salazar

Hemp and CBD manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor Green Cures & Botanical Distribution has added an experienced product development head to its executive roster. The San Luis Obispo, Calif.-based company has named Holley Edwards its vice president of product development, tasking her with leading research and development efforts at its new manufacturing and retail space in its hometown.

The company said that the new facilities will enable it to expand into private label sales of new hand sanitizer and body care products.

Edwards joins Green Cures with 16 years of R&D experience in cannabis and CBD products, having been a pioneer in California’s legal cannabis market. The products she has designed have launched successful cannabis operations, been stocked at multinational retailers and been purchased by $1 billion brands, the company said.

"We're thrilled to add Holley to our team and dive head-first into new product discovery and development," said Green Cures CEO Rich Thomas. "Her expertise and experience are invaluable as we launch dozens of new products and our first retail location by years end."
