Arizonan CBD soft gel manufacturer Gel Cap Concepts is growing its ranks. The Phoenix-based company has named Rachel Simon its manager of business development and sales for its line of hemp and CBD products, which includes the Desert Azee brand.

In her new role, Simon is charged with helping grow Gel Cap Concepts’ brands, as well as its private-label business. She joins the company from Nature’s Medicine dispensary, where she was a manager. The company noted that Simon’s experience as a medical marijuana patient with scoliosis offers her unique insight into the benefit of hemp-derived products.

"I've been fortunate that I've been able to work in an industry that provides so many benefits to so many people," Simon said. "I am thrilled to join Gel Cap Concepts and work with Desert Azee to help others discover this exemplary brand and its amazing quality."

The company’s flagship Desert Azee brand offers a line of premium hemp-derived CBD products with a full-spectrum offering. The Desert Azee selection includes gel caps, salves, aloe jelly, tincture, organic infused fruits, lip balms and dog treats. The company is in the process of sourcing pre-rolls for the brand.

Beyond Desert Azee, Gel Cap Concepts said that it offers a variety of products with CBD isolate, full-spectrum hemp and broad-spectrum hemp.
