Louisville, Ky.-based CBD brand Cornbread Hemp is taking a new approach to its products, rolling out a video to highlight the effort. The company is introducing its Flower-Only line of full-spectrum CBD products to coincide with National CBD Day on Aug. 8.

In the video, Cornbread Hemp co-founder Jim Higdon discusses the common practice of extracting CBD and hemp oil from whole plants rather than just the flowers, likening it to making orange juice by extracting liquid from the entire tree, rather than just the fruit.

Cornbread Hemp’s Flower-Only products are made exclusively from the hemp plant’s flower, rather than every part of the plant that grows above ground, often referred to as aerial parts.

“Consumers recognize Cornbread Hemp for its USDA-certified organic products, but our biggest secret is that our organic products are made from Flower-Only full spectrum hemp extract,” Higdon said. “We want consumers to know that there’s finally a better option. CBD just got an upgrade.”
