Coolhouse Botanics debuts Kradle calming CBD for dogs

salazar

A Twin Cities-based company is rolling out a product meant to help keep dogs calm — just in time for summer festivities that often include fireworks. Coolhouse Botanics has introduced Kradle, a calming CBD solution for dogs. The brand bills itself as being the first CBD brand exclusively focused on dog stress reduction.

Kradle’s products contain broad-spectrum CBD with no detectable THC, as well as the company’s patent-pending BotaniTek formula, which infuses GABA, Shoden ashwagandha and L-theanine with the CBD. Kradle’s lineup includes chews, toppers and melts, all of which feature chicken and beef liver natural flavorings. Each delivery option is available in varying potencies based on dog weight — small, medium and large.

The products have launched at more than 430 Pet Supplies Plus stores in 31 states, as well on Pet Supplies Plus’ website and the Kradle website.

"Everybody on the Kradle team shares a love and passion for pets and our products are purpose-built to help pet parents do everything they can to keep dogs safe, calm and happy," said Matt Scarlett, co-founder and chief executive officer, Coolhouse Botanics. "At Kradle we say, 'Lose the stress. Love your pet' because we believe our dogs can lead happy and stress-free lives with safe, effective and natural CBD solutions that calm them from the inside out."

Alongside the launch, the company is working with Tinkerbelle The Dog, an Instagram-famous pet with more than 400,000 Instagram followers that also has walked the runway at Fashion Week events in New York, Milan and Paris.

"Tinkerbelle The Dog used to hate fireworks, but not any more thanks to Kradle," said Sam Carrell, Tinkerbelle’s pet parent "Tinkerbelle really enjoys her Kradle supplements, especially the chicken flavor chews, and I enjoy her calmness.  I highly recommend Kradle for all sized dogs that are sensitive to the sound of fireworks or that suffer from other stress triggers. Tink also gets anxious for car travel and Kradle is helping there too.
