Charlotte’s Web has a new member on its board of directors. The board’s latest member is Jean Birch, an independent public company director who also sits on the boards of Jack in the Box, Forrester Research and CorePoint Lodging.

"We are grateful to have Jean joining the Charlotte's Web board as an independent director,” said Joel Stanley, chairman of the board and co-founder of Boulder, Colo.-based Charlotte’s Web. “Her broad public company board experience combined with her operational experience will be invaluable to us as we map the next part of our journey for Charlotte's Web.”

Birch has more than 20 years’ experience in consumer retail. She has formerly led such companies as Papa Murphy’s. IHOP, Macaroni Grill and Corner Bakery Café, is a board leadership fellow certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors. At Charlotte’s Web, she will serve on the company’s compensation and audit committees.

"I am honored to be joining the Charlotte's Web Board as they enter the next phase of their growth,” Birch said. “Charlotte's Web is an exciting company operating in a dynamic industry and I look forward to collaborating on the long-term strategy to accelerate growth."
